SAP Support Engineer Intern

The SAP Support Engineer provides high level technical support to resolve application issues dealing with ReadSoft products within SAP R/3 and within ReadSoft Java applications. The SAP Technician also provides Basis support to customers. On the job training is provided.
Please note that his is not a call center position. This position provides high level technical support via remote sessions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with a Computer Science option, ISDS or CIS.
- Junior or Senior level
- Ability to work 15 – 20 hours per week in the New Orleans office while in school
- Experience in procedural programming languages.
- Knowledge of the SAP database environment.
- Ability to quickly evaluate probable causes of problem and to solicit additional information from the customer.
- Ability to think logically and to synthesize information.
- Knowledge of information systems terms and general business terms.
- Knowledge of business accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
- Experience in problem analysis and resolution.
- Ability to handle tense situations calmly and politely.
