Director of Sales - Oracle Solutions

About the Position

This position is an expansion of our direct and channel sales force to increase sales of our Oracle validated ReadSoft products into the Oracle ERP markets. This is an exciting time for ReadSoft in the Oracle ERP market as we are selling our capture and workflow technologies for both Oracle 11i and 12i platforms as well as building our product suite using Oracle middle ware as the FUSION applications becoming available for our Oracle validated integrations.

The Sales Director will report directly to the President of ReadSoft North America. The position will also work closely with the ReadSoft Oracle Solution Lab development team in Research Triangle, North Carolina.

The Director of Sales position for the ReadSoft Lab – Oracle Solutions is a new position dedicated to the expansion of the Oracle segment. Responsibilities include:

  • Start off as the individual responsible for direct and channel sales into this segment
  • Grow in 2011 -2012 to build Oracle Direct Sales force and expand Channel Partner Program for our capture and workflow products
  • Work with pre sales and inside sales team to effectively present value proposition of technology to customers and partners
  • Collaboration on proposals and presentations with the internal ReadSoft team and partners sales team
  • Create a sales and marketing plan and set targets
  • Follow up sales and marketing plan and activities
  • Market penetration for new products and services

About the Candidate

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher in related field.
  • Previous Oracle sales experience either at Oracle or with Oracle partners is required
  • Knowledge of financial applications with Oracle technologies is preferred
  • Documented sales experience in document imaging and or ERP sales experience with sales management is preferred
  • Leadership experience
  • Very high activity level
  • Ability to manage and coach sales people in the future with an interest in staff development
  • Must be willing to relocate to one of the following locations: Raleigh, NC or New Orleans, LA
