Marketing Automation Specialist – Marketo

About the position:

ReadSoft, Inc. is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to enhance our current Marketing Team. The MAS will be responsible for design, testing, execution, maintenance and reporting of automated online marketing campaigns. This role will be a superuser of the Marketo marketing automation system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handle all the execution details required for each digital communication program.
  • Manage all outbound email campaigns.
  • Work with Marketo to understand system functionality and roadmaps.
  • Develop and document campaign management processes and best practices for marketing automation tactics.
  • Provide hands-on Marketo expertise to support the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and build campaign templates, strategic segments, derived fields and campaign triggers.
  • Coordinates execution of all aspects of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide day-to-day training & support to our users as the resident expert on the Marketo tool.
  • Ensure that the capture, maintenance and usage of customer information is in line with data protection requirements,  and supports marketing automation efforts.
  • Analyze and report data & metrics on digital marketing programs, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Accountable for project deliverables as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Reporting on campaign metrics.
  • Work with US marketing team for the most part on taking content and campaign information from the US team and stage the campaign material to flow thru the process as efficient as possible
  • Also work with parent company marketing team to use content created by parent company to stage campaign material to flow thru the process as efficient as possible 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MIS or Business Administration is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on exp with marketing automation programs such as Marketo and Eloqua. Marketo exp strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database tables and infrastructure, query logic, and optimization, basic SQL skills, and marketing automation software functionality.
  • Strong track record in marketing automation, campaign management, demand generation, direct marketing, database marketing and/or internet marketing.
  • Experience working with large data sets and data integrity practices.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail and effective time management are critical.
  • Individuals are expected to manage own workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy and permission marketing.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to easily work across a range of personnel and levels in the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to be flexible to meet time zone challenges, and work with global colleagues.
